Culture Centre of Santa Cruz
About the Culture Centre of Santa Cruz
Located on the east coast of the Island of Madeira, the Culture Centre of Santa Cruz is a cultural space that values the promotion of historical, artistic and contemporary culture.
The Culture Centre of Santa Cruz is located in a beautiful setting: the Quinta do Revoredo. When you visit this venue, you will have the opportunity to relax under the centuries-old trees in the garden, with a magnificent view over the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. In addition, the garden houses two sculptures that enrich this cultural space.
It was in the first half of the 19th century that the famous English merchant, John Blandy, decided to build a residence on the coast of Santa Cruz. Decades passed before the property was acquired and refurbished to house the current Culture Centre of Santa Cruz. Nowadays, this is an inviting space for exhibitions, theatre shows and music concerts. These cultural activities attract audiences of all age groups, and foster, both among the municipality's population and among all those who come from abroad, a spirit of unity through Art and Culture.
The Culture Centre of Santa Cruz, located on the east coast of the Island of Madeira, is a place of cultural dissemination with an enchanting green garden.
