Digital Travel Couple

Hi! We are Ilse and Atiba, also known as Digital Travel Couple.

Life through travel

Since 2018, we have lived a location-independent lifestyle as travel bloggers after we sold our house in the Netherlands. We are in pursuit of an adventurous and fulfilled life, inspired by nature and new experiences. As slow travellers, we came to Madeira and ended up living on the island for 7 months! During this time, we explored the island in every corner. We fell in love with the beautiful nature, made close friendships with lovely locals and our love for hiking and mountains was born. We have published 60 blogs about Madeira on our website about all the hikes, things to do, restaurants and other activities. Until today, Madeira has a special place in our hearts and will always be our favourite place in Europe to return.
