After graduating with a journalism degree, I set off to explore the world while creating adventure travel guides featuring hikes, waterfalls, beaches & adrenaline activities. During my travels, I heard stories about an island called Madeira. It was said to be a hiking heaven full of beautiful trails, cloud inversions, tunnels, and ancient forests. I decided to explore Madeira for myself and ended up staying for six months. During this time, I was welcomed in by the hiking and adventure community of Madeira. Locals showed me some of the most amazing hikes, waterfalls, and beaches throughout the island and I created a series of comprehensive and in-depth guides for other travelers to follow. I've revisited Madeira many times since my first trip and love setting off on new adventures across the island.
