This cable car consists of two cabins, each with 6 seats, connecting Rancho to the Fajãs of Cabo Girão. The cable car operates every day of the week.
Fajã do Rancho beach is located beneath the famous Cabo Girão promontory, the highest in Europe and the second-highest in the world, at 580 metres.
The Fajãs Cabo Girão Cable Car was initially used as a means of transport by farmers in the parish of Quinta Grande to access the agricultural land there. This infrastructure also offers its visitors a modern bar and restaurant service.
