Camacha Parish Church

About the Camacha Parish Church

The Camacha Parish Church was built in the late 20th century, in honour of Saint Laurence, who belonged to the order of Deacons, considered the guardians of the Church's property and providers of aid to the poor. Interestingly, this is the patron saint of the entire parish of Camacha.

The Camacha Parish Church features modern architecture. These unique features surprise many visitors, due to the fact that the church was built in a shape reminiscent of a tent. Inside, more precisely in the centre of the altar, there are seven pillars. Each represents one of God's sacraments.

The Camacha Parish Church is open from Monday to Sunday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Take the opportunity to attend one of the many Masses celebrated during the week, you certainly won't regret it.
