Fábrica Chábom produces honey cakes and biscuits, assorted biscuits, candy and chocolates. It was founded in 1983 in Funchal, and much of its success is due to the quality of the products and the flavour and family tradition of the recipes combined.

Acquired in 2023 by Chef Júlio Pereira, Fábrica Chábom wants to elevate its legacy by maintaining a commitment to authenticity with its ancestral recipes and cooking techniques.
The Chábom brand was a pioneer in the marketing of regional products that were once consumed seasonally. In addition to the famous honey cakes and biscuits, the company also specialised in a range of chocolates, handmade candy and other assorted biscuits with typical regional flavours.
For 40 years it has preserved a traditionally unmistakable flavour, and while selling its products in the factory itself, it maintains a long-standing relationship with regional, national and international distributors, thus contributing to preserving the island's cultural identity around the world.
