Anjos Beach
About the Anjos Beach
The west coast of the island of Madeira is known for its sunny climate. Being the area of the island that enjoys, in general, the most hours of sun exposure, it is very sought after by those who wish to enjoy warm days by the sea.
The Anjos Beach is certainly one of the options to bear in mind. Located in the parish of Canhas, in the place with the same name, this bathing resort has facilities available during the entire bathing season. Thus, bathers can count on support services such as a bar with terrace, sanitary facilities or parasols.
In addition, wooden decks are available, ensuring an easier and safer access to the sea. The Anjos Beach is located on the road connecting the town of Ponta do Sol to Madalena do Mar. On this road (E.R. 101) you can find the famous Cascata dos Anjos, an emblematic waterfall that juts out from a steep rocky face.
Finally, we should mention that the Anjos Beach, composed of basalt pebbles and black sand, is accessible by Caminho dos Anjos and a wooden staircase. Here, the sunset is unforgettable!
The Anjos Beach offers bathers a landscape with a privileged view of the sunset. It is located between the town of Ponta do Sol and Madalena do Mar.
