"Casas Valle Paraizo welcome you and wish you a great and relaxing stay, in the countryside, with wonderful surroundings among majestic levadas with breathtaking sceneries.
Located in Camacha, a parish with about 8,000 inhabitants, at an altitude of 700 metres, the climate here is mild and cool, with temperatures ranging from 15ºC in winter to 25ºC in summer.
Although we are in the countryside, we are also very close to the sea and the capital. The city of Funchal, for example, is only 20 minutes away by car."
Casas Valle Paraizo comprises 11 cottages of various types equipped with self-catering kitchenette, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, electric coffee maker and toaster, living room with wood stove and portable electric oil radiators. The bedrooms are very comfortable and cosy, and Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the house.
In place of the apple trees that once dominated the landscape, a large garden was created, where the cottages are set, and several of the endemic species that make up the Laurissilva Forest - UNESCO World Heritage - were planted. Besides these, other deciduous trees can be admired throughout the year, and, in the Fall, it is beautiful to see their leaves painted in stunning autumnal shades. The proximity of "Casas Valle Paraizo" to Levada da Serra do Faial, by the sections that cross the parish of Camacha, turns these cottages into the ideal option for all those who love exploring Madeira's pedestrian paths, letting you relax in the peacefulness of the countryside.
