I’ve been a travel and food content creator and photographer for the past 10 years, exploring destinations and their relationship with food — from street food to fine dining. I’ve visited Madeira three times, and each time I return, I discover more about this special island and the pride its people have in it. I’ve noticed a real shift in the restaurant scene, with chefs celebrating diverse cooking, local produce, and rich history. It’s an exciting time, with a new wave of restaurants and chefs doing great things here.
