This route starts next to the Rabaçal loading chamber (ER105) and takes you along Levada do Paul II to Estrada do Rochão, covering a distance of approximately 1,200 metres (2,400 metres round trip).
Under the theme 'Um caminho para todos' ('A path for everyone'), this hiking trail has been prepared to ensure accessibility for anyone, including those with motor disabilities, making it possible to take a peaceful stroll in direct contact with nature.
Along the route you can see, to the south, the extraordinary landscape characteristic of the municipality of Calheta, especially the morphology of the terrain, in which you can easily see lombos, lombinhas and lombadas. Levada do Paul II starts in the Ribeiro do Juncal (basin of the Ribeira da Ponta do Sol), and together with Levada do Paul I (also known as Levada do Alecrim) its purpose is to supply the Rabaçal loading chamber, with the water then travelling through a pipeline to the Calheta hydroelectric power station to produce electricity.
