Located in the municipality of Ponta do Sol, the Bica da Cana - Lameirinhas trail offers mountain bikers the opportunity to pedal in Nature with unparalleled views over the northern side of the island of Madeira.
This trail has a total of 5.59 km, which can be completed in about an hour.
Given its technical requirements and length, it can be quite exhausting for those who are not so experienced in this activity.

The trail, which starts at Bica da Cana and ends at Lameirinhas, has a maximum altitude of 1610 metres and a minimum altitude of 1515 metres.
It is a very diverse trail, which includes roads, singletrack, open areas, woodland areas and small quarries.
In addition, although it has slight climbs, the trail is characterised by its descents.
It should be noted that the Bica da Cana - Lameirinhas trail crosses Paul da Serra, the highest mountain plateau in the entire archipelago, at an altitude of about 1500 metres.
